Grinsafe® Class 1 Div 1 Lighting

Class 1 Division 1 location is a high-risk area defined by the National Electrical Code where flammable gases, vapors, or liquids are present during normal operations or frequent maintenance. In these areas, ignitable concentrations of these substances can exist under normal conditions or during equipment breakdowns. Examples include oil refineries, chemical plants, paint booths, and fueling stations. LED lighting in these locations requires special precautions.
